6TH CHARLIE WORF ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2022
Report.
The Six Charlie Wolf Symposium was held on the 10th of March, 2022, at the Federal Ministry of Environment Conference Room (Brown Building). The event was held in three (3) different locations with different topics. Which are Lagos State at LASEPA Conference hall and Port Harcourt at Department of Animal and Environmental Biology Board Room, Faculty of Science, University of Port Harcourt, Choba, and at Federal Capital Abuja.
Mr. Abbas Suleiman the Director of Environmental Impact Assessment of the Federal Ministry of Environment, Abuja. Who moderated and gave the welcoming address, and spoke briefly, on the history of Charlie Parker Wolf before calling on the speakers.
The two keynote speakers were Prof A. Onari Asimiea, Professor of Natural Resource Conservation, the University of Port Harcourt, who spoke about “Air quality / Air pollution and the Black Soot from Artisanal Refinery” and Dr. Lookman Oshodi, Project Director, Arctic Infrastructure Lagos, who spoke on “Transportation Impact Assessment”.
Prof. George O. Gbenle, Bodley Company Limited (Environmental), The University of Lagos, call on the Electoral Committees which are Dr. Tasiu Idi as Chair, Dr. Korede Odukoya as the Vice-Chair, Mrs. Donna Aimuiwu as the Secretary, Engr. Lynda Bitrus (Member), Prof. Namadi Muktar (Member) and Mr. Mark O. Onobume (Member). And they were all swear-in as the electoral committees of the Association (AEIAN) by Prof. George O. Gbenle.
Prof. Ijeoma Vicent-Akpu gave the closing remark and the conference ended with thanks and joy.
